Description:
One of the largest design-build infrastructure projects in the country, this Project will replace an existing bridge over the Anacostia River with a new six-lane bridge, create a new Grand Boulevard, reconstruct several interchanges, increase pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and improve drainage and storm water management throughout the corridor.
Hayat Brown’s Role:
Led design of sewer and water lines, utility and stakeholder coordination, and design of pavement marking and signage for the new bridge.
