Entry Level Civil Engineer

Job Description

The successful candidate will work under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer and be engaged in the following activities:

  • Assist in developing engineering design plans and reports and preparing supporting calculations and related analysis
  • Assist in developing plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
  • Assist in developing and analyzing alternatives
  • Manage and maintain project documentation
  • Assist in permitting support and stakeholder coordination as needed
  • Prepare draft written correspondence with outside agencies, clients, and contractors
  • Prepare draft technical reports including drainage, sanitary sewer, and site investigation reports
  • Assist project managers with assignments as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Up to 2 years of civil experience
  • Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering
  • EIT is a plus
  • Interest in developing design skills
  • Interest in developing skills in preparing plans, specifications, and estimates
  • Background in MicroStation, AutoCad and/or MicroStation Openroad is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
