Job Description
The successful candidate will work under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer and be engaged in the following activities:
- Assist in developing engineering design plans and reports and preparing supporting calculations and related analysis
- Assist in developing plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates
- Assist in developing and analyzing alternatives
- Manage and maintain project documentation
- Assist in permitting support and stakeholder coordination as needed
- Prepare draft written correspondence with outside agencies, clients, and contractors
- Prepare draft technical reports including drainage, sanitary sewer, and site investigation reports
- Assist project managers with assignments as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Up to 2 years of civil experience
- Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering
- EIT is a plus
- Interest in developing design skills
- Interest in developing skills in preparing plans, specifications, and estimates
- Background in MicroStation, AutoCad and/or MicroStation Openroad is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
